Tele2 IoT, a subsidiary of Sweden-headquartered operator Tele2, has entered a five year agreement with Nokia covering the delivery of IoT services to Tele2 enterprise customers using Nokia's worldwide IoT network grid (WING).
Tele2 IoT will use Nokia's WING to rapidly provide complete IoT services to enterprise customers in fields including transport, healthcare, smart city and utilities to manage their global connectivity needs.

The agreement between the two companies also covers collaboration on advanced technologies including 5G, narrowband IoT, LTE machine-to-machine communications (LTE-M), SIM management and analytics.
“Nokia WING is a unique concept for worldwide IoT enablement which will allow us to serve our enterprise customers better and differentiate our offering on a global scale,” Tele2 IoT CEO Rami Avidan said.
“We are excited about the prospect of helping our customers to easily deploy IoT services, driving new revenue growth opportunities."
Nokia head of WING Ankur Bhan added that the agreement will “enable Tele2 IoT to offer its enterprise customers a global service with flexible control, low latency and high levels of efficiency and enterprise automation.”
