Telcordia Technologies has expanded its operations in the Asia Pacific, opening offices in Beijing and Hong Kong.
According to the company, this is just the latest in a series of strategic moves that are aimed at leveraging its innovation, experience and reach in the region.
Earlier this year, Telcordia established an India entity, Telcordia Technologies India, and opened a state-of-the-art software development lab in Chennai, India.
Telcordia senior vice president Michael Anderson said Asia Pacific had traditionally been an early adopter of new and advanced technologies, making it a perfect market for the company. China, with more than 50% of the world's population, would be the firm's strategic focus.
