Hi-Tech, a Chinese telecom products supplier, has produced a solar powered phone with panels over the entire front plate of the clamshell mobile device.
He claims the lifespan of the battery of the solar powered mobile phone is 2.5 times longer than that of traditional batteries.
The company plans to release six models with the solar panels this year and up to 30 models next year.
