Subex Azure posted a 356% increase in after-tax profit to $3.74 million in the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30, from $0.81 million in the first quarter.
Net profit was placed at $4.54 million, as revenue soared 137% to $32 million as compared with the fiscal first quarter. Product revenue shot up to $16.19 million, up 252% from the previous quarter's $4.59 million.
According to chair, managing director and CEO Subash Menon, the company's strong second-quarter growth was a result of its increased focus on "continuously providing a higher level of choice to our customers in existing and newer markets following the Azure acquisition."
