Servcorp, a provider of serviced and virtual offices, has announced a global IP telephony upgrade throughout 140 locations in 52 cities worldwide.
Hong Kong has been chosen as the first destination for the rollout. Servcorp has so far invested $50 million in developing proprietary software and infrastructure.
“Technology investments are central to Servcorp’s core servicing principles in giving customers every opportunity to maximize productivity and efficiency on a private network that is flexible and adaptable to their needs,” Servcorp general manager for Hong Kong Wilma Wu said.
In Hong Kong, Servcorp has a presence in IFC 2, Hong Kong Club Building and One Peking.
The upgrade features the deployment of Cisco Unified IP Phone 8941, which allows for HD voice and video communications.
“Customers expressed a desire to communicate with colleagues, partners and other associates via video at the desk rather than having to book a separate room for a video conference. This gives better visibility and a more personalized communication experience across a secure network,” added Wu.
