Scomi Group Berhad has chosen TIME dotcom Berhad (TIME) as the sole network provider to meet its global connectivity needs across five countries.
The partnership has TIME design, implement and fully manage Scomi’s Private Data Network that connects its offices in India, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Malaysia .
This Private Data Network is delivered through TIME’s global network partnerships and its Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) layer, providing reliability, security and scalability to meet Scomi’s high-availability network requirements.
A fully managed network enables Scomi to increase its communication efficiencies between its global offices. TIME’s Private Data Network will help facilitate collaboration between Scomi’s global project teams and its global headquarters in Malaysia by allowing for faster cross access to shared applications.
Scomi anticipates that investment in the advanced network will bring significant cost savings in travel, further bandwidth scalability as well as provide for efficient time management among its offices. The move to deploy a global IT infrastructure is expected to enhance the Group's frontrunner competitiveness in the markets it operates in, whilst catering to its expansion plans for the future.
Competitive SLAs have been a pillar of TIME’s network and services, offering up to 99.999% binding uptime on the core network and 99.9% for back-up networks.
