Two out of five marketing professionals in Hong Kong believe the territory does not have enough good digital agencies that know how to create effective social media campaigns, according to a survey conducted by the Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing (HKAIM).
The poll covered interviews with at least 1,000 respondents, more than half of whom were unsure of the presence of such companies.
HKAIM chairmain Francis Fong said that while the marketing community has already accepted the social media, many companies still take a conservative approach when investing resources on this new media.
''I believe this survey can give some insights to marketing professionals, allowing them explore this uprising new media and its potential business opportunities,” Fong added.
