HP hires ethics and compliance chief

Hewlett-Packard appointed Jon Hoak as its chief ethics and compliance officer to make sure its businesses practices remain on the straight and narrow. Hoak, a former legal counsel for NCR, to the ethics post, which is a vice presidency.

Rambus elects board member

Rambus, a technology licensing company specializing in high-speed chip interfaces, announced the appointment of David Shrigley as an independent director to its board of directors. Shrigley was also appointed to the compensation committee of the Rambus board.

UTDi names new VP for sales

Converged communications solutions firm Unified TelData announced that it has named Bill Bivins as VP of sales to the management team. With over 18 years of sales and sales management experience in the telephony industry, Bivins' responsibility is to guide the rapid growth of the UTDi sales organization and its strategies.

Baracoda appoints VP for North America

Baracoda, a provider of Bluetooth barcode scanning and RFID solutions, has named Christophe Dissaux as EVP for North America. The announcement was made by Baracoda's founder and CEO Thomas Serval.
