Rim Semiconductor names new board member
Rim Semiconductor announced that it has appointed Dr. Boon Tiong Tan to its Board of Directors. Tan was formerly the head of the Technology Development Department of SingTel, where he was responsible for the development of the DSL and ATM infrastructure.
Atheros appoints VP and GM for mobile unit
Wireless solutions provide Atheros Communications appointed Dr. Sam Endy to the newly created position of VP and general manager of the company's mobile wireless business unit. Endy has more than 20 years of experience in wireless technology and will lead Atheros' business efforts in the mobile wireless market.
CoWare has new VP for worldwide services
CoWare, a supplier of platform-driven electronic system-level (ESL) design software and services, announced that Allen Spence has joined the company as VP of worldwide services. Spence will manage CoWare's worldwide professional services team as well as CoWare's key strategic service partners.
Qualcomm elects member of the board
Qualcomm announced the election of Sherry Lansing to its Board of Directors. Lansing's career spans more than 30 years in the motion picture industry and includes serving as chair of the Motion Picture Group of Paramount Pictures.
