InfoSpace appoints CFO

Mobile content firm InfoSpace announced the appointment of Allen Hsieh as chief financial officer. Hsieh has served as interim CFO since April, in addition to his role as chief accounting officer, which he held since 2003.

Groove Mobile has new marketing chief

Groove Mobile, a mobile music commerce platform, announced that Adam Sexton has been promoted to chief marketing officer. In addition to his current marketing and product management role as a member of the Groove Mobile executive team, Sexton's expanded responsibilities will include driving the development of Groove Mobile's off portal business with wireless companies, entertainment companies, and artist managers.

Intelsat names SVP for marketing

Intelsat announced the recent appointment of Vicki Warker as the company's new SVP of marketing. In the role, Warker is responsible for the company's growth initiatives and maximizing the company's performance in serving the video and network services customer groups.

Jinpan elects independent director

Telecommunications solutions company Jinpan International announced the election of Stephan R. Clark to the company's board of directors as an independent director. Clark succeeds William D. Nagel, whose term as independent director ended last October
