Opera Software has launched its Open Mobile Ad Exchange service, which offers cloud-based advertising on feature phones and smartphones.
The Open Mobile Ad Exchange makes 66.5 million Opera Mini users, available to advertisers, publishers, and wireless operators.
With the Exchange, publishers and developers also benefit from a new marketplace where they decide how, when and where advertising will appear in their content.
In the Exchange, the ads appear not in the browser interface but as regular website advertising.
