Four original equipment manufacturers from Korea, Brazil and China have adopted Centec Networks' TransWarp series of silicon for new design, targeting for Packet Transport Platforms.

The initial purchase orders have been delivered with the potential to generate significant revenue in second half 2012.

The silicon integrates 100Gbps L2/L3/MPLS/MPLS-TP-based switching capacity, advanced traffic management and the latest Carrier Ethernet and Packet Transport features, such as hardware-based OAM, automatic protection switching (APS), 1588v2 and SyncE.

Last July,Centec added Clifton MPLS-TP OAM FPGA into the TransWarp Family as a complementary solution for packet transport, supporting both Y.1731-based and BFD-based MPLS-TP OAM.
