North African telco taps VoluBill

A major North African affiliate of a mobile telecom group has awarded a 1-million-euro ($1.3-million) contract to VoluBill.

Under the terms of the agreement, VoluBill will supply its Charge It real-time data control and charging solution to the North African cellco.

The solution will enable the mobile operator to implement sophisticated value-based charging strategies that will allow it to differentiate its services through innovative packages, bundles and promotions.

VoluBill said the Charge It has been deployed by global operators such as Orange, Orascom, Bharti, Globe Telecom and Digicel Group.
