Nokia announced that it has deepened its managed services agreement with the Indian operator Hutchison Essar.
The contract, which extends a five-year managed services agreement announced in January, means that Nokia supplies managed services and GSM network equipment in 19 of Hutchison Essar's 23 circles.
Nokia would provide a range of solutions from its business solutions portfolio, including network operations, configuration and optimization of both its own equipment and equipment from other vendors, and maintenance.
No financial details of the deal expansion were disclosed.
