Nokia expands 3G network deal with Taiwan Mobile

(Nordic Business Report via NewsEdge) Nokia said it has expanded its exclusive framework contract for a W-CDMA 3G network with Taiwan Mobile.

The new agreement extends the existing agreement to also cover the supply of Nokia's HSDPA solution and new Flexi W-CDMA base stations.

Nokia will provide a circuit core network expansion, expand Taiwan Mobile's radio network with 3,000 base stations, and upgrade the network software with HSDPA.

No financial details were disclosed.
