Subex Systems and Azure Solutions have merged, in line with both companies' strategy of market consolidation.
Subex's recent acquisitions include Mantas in March, Lightbridge in August 2004 and Alcatel in July 2004. Azure, on the other hand, acquired US-based Connexn Technologies and UK-based Anite Calculus in November 2004.
Subex Azure's global and Asia-Pacific headquarters will be in Bangalore , India , while its EMEA and American operations will be based in London , UK and Westminster , Colorado , respectively.
The two companies will have a combined customer base of 150 in more than 60 countries, including 23 of the world's 40 largest operators.
