As content companies embrace the potential of IP and the promise of OTT, they gain significant new opportunities for savings and growth.
On the other side, however, new security challenges arise and the range of threats open up tremendously. While content companies do and should continue to rely on familiar CAS and DRM technologies for content protection, these are no longer enough. In this paper we discuss the changing security needs for media businesses, key aspects to consider in addressing these needs, and the importance of a unified approach to security for the IP-enabled video business.
