China Netcom's subsidiary in Liaoning has completed the final phase of an effort to expand its digital media offerings and provide new, flexible rate plans and promotions to its customers.
The company has tapped Oracle subsidiary Portal Software services organization Portal Consulting to seamlessly merge three digital media content providers onto its billing system, while opening a revenue channel for content providers.
This has enabled seamless and real-time revenue share, while at the same time offering consumers a greater variety of prepaid and postpaid pricing bundles and payment options.
