There is little doubt that NFC offers a host of opportunities for mobile network operators, ecosystem players and the end user.
However, the potential service delivery, revenue generation, differentiation and loyalty benefits of mobile NFC will remain unrealized without a concerted push towards standardization and interoperability – with inherent security built in - somewhere within the device.
