(Satellite News via NewsEdge) Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems awarded a contract to Integral Systems to provide primary and backup satellite-control systems for the Vinasat-1 satellite being constructed for the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
The systems will incorporate several elements of Integral's Epoch Integrated Product Suite to provide a complete command and control system plus automated scheduling, procedure execution, offline trending and analysis, and flight dynamics functions.
The value of the contract was not released.
