Intec has renewed a multi-year, multi-million-dollar carrier access billing (CABS) agreement with a Tier 1 US service provider. Carrier access billing allows local service providers to charge other communications companies for access to their customer facilities.

According to Intec, its CABS software solution and its breadth of reporting capabilities give service providers an unprecedented level of visibility into their data.

Intec CABS also provides the tools that allow the quick resolution of any dispute by providing access to the billing detail and CDRs required validating CABS billings.

For this particular provider alone, Intec is collecting 97% of an eight-figure potential in recoverable access charges.
