Fixed broadband prices fell by an average of 82% between 2008 and 2012, with the biggest decline happening in emerging countries, according to ITU statistics.

Postpaid mobile broadband is the most affordable way of accessing the internet worldwide, but mobile broadband remains comparatively much less affordable in the developing world.
