Internet Initiative Japan announced that it will add two data warehouse services to its roster.

The firm said the two services--Pivotal Greenplum Database and InfiniDB—will be added to the lineup of the IIJ GIO Component Service Database Add-on, which provides a database system over a cloud computing service.

IIJ will begin offering the services in July.

IIJ is expanding solutions related to big data. It currently offers IIJ GIO Hadoop Solution (announced in October 2012), which allows for the use of a distributed parallel processing environment, and IIJ GIO BigData Labo (announced in June 2013), which provides a trial environment and technical support for verifying the effects.

The data warehouse services provide storage and analysis of large quantities of data as the third lineup of IIJ GIO Service for big data usage.
