Huawei said it has successfullyevaluated interoperability test (IOT) capability for CDMA 1x LTE circuit switched fallback (CSFB) commercial device.
The test was conducted in partnership with Qualcomm using Release 8 1x CSFB and Release 9 1xe CSFB technology.
An important component of CDMA to LTE evolution, CSFB enables data services to run on LTE networks with voice service fallback to circuit switched packets.
With CSFB technology, subscribers are able to enjoy LTE mobile broadband services while continuing to have high-quality CDMA 1x voice services.
