Hutchison Global Communications (HGC) has entered a business collaboration with Ansterdam-based connectivity and internet services provider VEON to provide joint services in the enterprise market.

The partners plan to provide a single virtual sales team for business to business communications services services to ensure a superior worldwide customer experience.

Through this sales partnership the companies will be collaborating to provide multinational customers with their respective portfolios of dedicated virtual private network (VPN) services, and plan phased launches of cloud computing, software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and other ICT services.

“Combining HGC’s extensive and highly resilient global network and rich experience in serving the enterprise sector, the collaboration with VEON will enable us to accommodate the dynamic telecoms and IT requirements of multinational enterprises with high flexibility,” HGC president of international and carrier business Andrew Kwok said.

VEON chief business officer Eugene Viskovic added that the “alliance of like-minded companies is determined to improve customer experience by harmonizing service and quality. Crucially, this will also allow our multinational clients to save costs by purchasing solutions from a single provider.”
