Afghan Telecom has awarded $2.1 million worth of contract extensions to Globecomm Systems subsidiary Globecomm Network Services Corp. (GSNC).
GNSC has been providing teleport services, in support of international voice and Internet connectivity, to Afghan Telecom since the District Communications Network and the Government Communication Network went live.
Afghan Telecom is the only basic telecom service provider in Afghanistan. Covering 144 cities, towns and districts, it aims to provide superior connectivity solutions to the people of Afghanistan.
