Gabon Telecom is in production with CSG International’s Wholesale Business Management solution.
The implementation includes CSG’s Interconnect and Intermediate solutions, and will support both the wireless and wireline business.
“Revenue and net income growth are dependent upon the efficiency of our operations,” said Bernard Mbangangoye, international and interconnection director at Gabon Telecom. “With the CSG solution we are able to control our wholesale process from end-to-end, correctly capturing data records, accurately invoicing our partners, and shortening the time to settlement.”
Gabon Telecom, operating as Libertis, was the first operator in Central Africa to launch LTE, and made the strategic decision to not just modernize its network but also the systems responsible for monetizing its network traffic.
“Our increasing footprint in dynamic markets such as Africa attests to our knowledge and the functional depth of our offerings,” said George Fraser, VP of CSG’s Europe, Middle East and Africa regional operations.
Gabon Telecom is owned by Morocco’s Maroc Telecom, and is the 10th operating company in the Maroc Telecom group to standardize on CSG solutions.
