Telstra Global has signed agreement with Flat Planet to provide its cloud-based virtual contact center (VCC) services to support the Australian virtual talent company’s global expansion.
Telstra Global said its VCC service is a cloud-based software solution combining voice and data networks and enables BPO contact centers to improve customer service.
The solution consists of a global cloud accessible by agents at different locations. It utilizes a concurrent licensing model to allow global organizations to share licenses across contact centers in different countries and locations.
Flat Planet, which provides business process outsourcing services to customers across Australia, Asia, North America and Europe, is Telstra Global’s first external customer on the VCC global platform.
“Flat Planet prides itself in delivering high quality BPO services and in today’s market this means a contact center technology platform that delivers strong functionality combined with greater direct control and agility,” Chris Moriarty, Chief Executive for Flat Planet. “Flat Planet needs to be able to respond quickly to changing customer needs and Telstra Global’s VCC public cloud infrastructure means we will be able to make changes to campaigns and projects faster than the competition.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
