Finistar partners with Ixia for CFP module test

Finistar said it tested its transceivers via the K2 100 Gbps Ethernet and IP test architecture developed by the performance testing solution vendor.

The test consisted of error-free transmission of IP packets over 25km of single-mode fiber – two and a half times the distance being standardized by the IEEE.
