Yahoo unveils its Project Panama ad-ranking platform in the US, which allows the more effective conversion of user visits into advertising revenues. The Internet giant said the 'marketplace design' model uses quality and keyword bid prices to match ads with query results.

Warner Music Japan rolls out the Warner Music Group Rhino Mobile service, a music portal for NTT DoCoMo subscribers in Japan. This mobile data service features an innovative Flash-based user experience delivering a variety of content from Warner Music Group's Rhino catalog.

Mexico's Telmex launches a platform that offers television via the Internet, which for the moment is free but will turn into a cash generator in the future. Called 'Prodigy Media,' the service offers four live channels and the ability to download videos and films.
