Yahoo unveils plans to give users of its Web-based email service unlimited storage capacity as a tribute to Yahoo Mail's 10th birthday. The firm said it will start rolling out the unlimited storage scheme this May.

Siemens announces the industry's first 111-Gbps transmission over almost 2,400 kilometers, which will enable transport of 100 Gigabit Ethernet data packets per wavelength. This achievement marks a major breakthrough for high-performance and low cost next generation 100Gbps networks, the firm said.

Huawei launches its newest 65-nm CDMA 1xEV-DO data card, the EC360. Huawei says the data card, which was developed by Huawei especially for the North American market, supports fast packet data services and less power consumption.
