True selects solutions provider Motive to supply software for the carrier's broadband Internet services. Under the deal, Motive software will be used to manage True's existing DSL and IPTV services.

ZTE wins deal to expand what is reportedly the world's first IOS 5.0-based cdma2000 system in Sri Lanka. ZTE will provide state-owned carrier SLT an all-IP network that will initially cater to 300,000 subscribers.

China Wireless Communications signs an additional contract with the Tianjin Medicine Industry & Biology Technic to provide laptop computers, computing solutions, network routing, and auxiliary IP equipment.

Tata Teleservices secures the go-signal from the CDMA Certification Forum (CCF) to pursue tests for the carrier's cdma2000 devices using the CCF's test and global certification process.
