Teletalk Bangladesh selects technology firm Megasoft to provide Teletalk with a suite of mobile services. Under the deal, valued at around $1 million, Megasoft will provide its branded applications including SMS auto correct, PowerRoam, SmartRoute, Welcome Notification, InstaRoam, SMS aggregation and others.

Asia Netcom establishes a second Singapore point of presence at the Equinix Singapore Internet Business Exchange (IBX) center. Asia Netcom said the PoP extends its IP and connectivity services offering to carriers and enterprises working with Equinix's network neutral Internet hub.

New Zealand firm WorldxChange Communications completes its converged network expansion project using solutions from VoIP specialist Ensim. WorldxChange said it has become the first true fully converged IP carrier in the country by investing in carrier-grade IP core hardware and systems.
