Samsung unveils a chip with enough capacity to store 36,000 high-resolution photographs or 40 movie files. The company it has developed the world's first 32-gigabit NAND flash memory chip based on 40-nanometer processing technology.

NTT DoCoMo signs an agreement with eMobile, a company headquartered in Japan, on 3G roaming service. The agreement between the two companies will enable eMobile to provide a nationwide service from the introduction of voice services scheduled for March 2008.

Huawei teams up with Beep Science, a provider of industry-standard mobile digital rights management software solution, as part of its effort to promote and accelerate industry development and acceptance of DRM protected content.
