Maxis and DiGi have both launched the iPhone 4 in Malaysia today.

 

Apple was briefly the second most valuable company in the world yesterday, when a stock price surge temporarily set its on-market value at $267.5 billion.

 

AMD has issued a profit warning for the third quarter, announcing it expects revenue to be 1-4% lower than in the second quarter. Intel gave a similar warning last month, suggesting that the popularity of mobile devices is cutting into PC sales.

 

Vodafone Global Enterprise has set up a regional office in Singapore.

 

The Indian government has rejected a request from Etisalat to increase its stake in its Indian JV, Etisalat DB, due to “technical reasons.”
