South Korea's LG Powercomm plans to file an IPO this December on South Korea's main board. Powercomm has picked Woori Investment & Securities to handle the IPO, a Reuters report also said.

Telecom New Zealand taps Veraz Networks to provide the carrier with multimedia network applications. The two firms have also announced the completion of a multi-operator global trial of the GSM Association (GSMA) IP eXchange (IPX) framework.

Corrigent Systems secures a deal to provide its Ethernet CM-100 product line to Hanaro Telecom. The carrier plans to offer differentiated content and value-added services as part of its IPTV service.
