FASTTAKES: Huawei, Namco, Amp'd Mobile

Huawei Technologies reports that it has won the bid for 3G project from Telecom Italia Mobile, the mobile telecom business arm of Telecom Italia Group. The deal came after Huawei bagged a similar contract from Vodafone, the firm said.

Wireless content firm Namco Networks signs an exclusive partnership with KDDI. Through the partnership, Namco will publish KDDI's large catalog of hit mobile games from Japanese publishers and developers.

US-based Amp'd Mobile, a mobile entertainment provider, launches its services in Japan and Canada, making its popular, exclusive entertainment content available to more than 30 million mobile users around the world.
