FASTTAKES: Google, IC Star, China Unicom

Google plans to begin selling corporate America an online suite of software that includes email, word processing, spreadsheets and calendar management, escalating its invasion on technological turf traditionally dominated by Microsoft and IBM.

China-based IC Star MMS signs an agreement to form a channel partnership with Sina sina.com to develop and provide content for the Chinese portal. Under the agreement, IC Star will provide content in the areas of entertainment and fashion to some 100 million sina.com users.

China Unicom NewSpace, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Unicom, says it will officially begin broadcasting its collection of music videos from both Chinese and Western musicians on the cellular network of China Unicom via a partnership with Global Music International.
