Global 3G, a division of Hutchison Whampoa, extends its existing deal with Yahoo to include new mobile Internet services. The new deal will allow customers to access mobile Internet services using Yahoo Go for Mobile 2.0

SanDisk rolls out its latest high-capacity storage devices for mobile phones. The new storage cards, with capacities of 1 gigabyte to 2 gigabytes, will be used in upcoming Sony Ericcson phones, SanDisk said.

Microvision unveils a miniature full-color projection display that is small enough to be embedded inside a mobile phone. The company said it will demonstrate the device during the Consumer Electronics Show.
