China Mobile launches a rural information Web site that will provide services such as mobile voice business, data, Internet access and other mobile information solutions for special businesses in the rural areas.

True Corp. expects to meet its target of 50,000 Wi-Fi customers this year, despite getting only 13,000 subscribers as of October. The company will be spending 50 million baht ($1.4 million) in the next two months to promote its Wi-Fi service.

ZTE is supplying a WCDMA network to Libyana, the largest mobile operator in Libya. The network will have a capacity of 1 million lines and covers most of the country's population over 14 main cities, according to the company.
