AOL acquires Relegence, a company specializing in financial news and information search technology. Financial terms were not disclosed, but reports say the deal is worth $65 million.

Skype unveils new software with automatic click-to-call features designed to make shopping easier. The firm said the new Skype 3.0 will be available in a public test version starting this week.

Maxis expands its HSDPA footprint to potentially serve more than 20,000 households in Penang. Maxis said it has spent 5 million ringgit ($1.3 million) in order to deploy the HSDPA system, on top of its 3G network.
