FASTTAKES: ACMA, Samsung, Google

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) reports that is investigating a man accused of sending out more than 2 billion spam emails, most of them touting Viagra, in Australia. The ACMA said it had searched a home after a tip-off from Dutch authorities.

Samsung bares plan to invest $20 million in the next 2 years in its Argentine unit. The firm said it is preparing to sell "high impact" equipment as part of efforts to increase penetration in the high value segment in Argentina.

Google upgrades its Google Earth services and begins showcasing the world's natural wonders, famous haunts, and man-made changes on its global mapping service. Google Earth offered 'Featured Content' ranging from details of the Three Gorges Dam in China and King Tut's tomb in Egypt to Itsukushima Shrine in Japan and Pablo Picasso's favorite social spot in Sweden.
