TM Forum has awarded Ericsson’s Charging and Billing in One solution its conformance certification for Frameworx Business Process (eTOM) and Information (SID) Frameworks.
TM Forum's Frameworx suite of best practices and standards provides the blueprint for effective, efficient business operations. Frameworx enables service providers to assess and optimize performance using a proven, service-oriented approach to operations and integration.
"Service providers increasingly use Frameworx conformance as an integral part of the procurement process to facilitate clear communications and to quickly map vendor product capabilities against requirements,” said Nik Willetts, CDO of TM Forum.
“The certification of Charging and Billing in One is a result of Ericsson's continued commitment to standards and interoperability in support of the agile operator,” said Willetts.
TM Forum has certified version 3.x of Charging and Billing in One as conformant to Business Process Framework and Information Framework Versions 13. The assessment covered an extensive scope of the Business Process Framework and Information Framework.
Charging and Billing in One allows service providers to handle all customers and services in a single convergent system using streamlined processes across all network technologies, payment methods, and customer and partner segments.
