International telco Cable & Wireless has recovered more than 1 million pounds ($1.96 million) of revenues over 18 months by using cVidya's MoneyMap solution.

Beyond the direct reclamation, the operator has used MoneyMap to help report and reduce internal costs caused by unused network capacity that was not released for further use, cVidya has said.

The revenue assurance department of C&W UK used MoneyMap as part of its activities to identify revenue leakages in their non-usage services such as leased lines and IP-VPN. After a four-month training and implementation, MoneyMap has helped the company to identify revenues already considered lost, by highlighting discrepancies between the network and the billing systems.
