UC operational management vendor Clarity has announced it will merge with sister company Omnix Software so it can provide converged products.
Under the arrangement, parent company Powerlan will fold Omnix Software into the Clarity brand.
The merger will allow Clarity to add network planning and infrastructure management functionalities to its OSS portfolio.
“Strong synergies exist between Clarity and Omnix and we’re very excited to be moving both organizations forward as a consolidated entity,” Clarity CEO Jon Newbery said.
The UK-based Omnix counts among its customers major carriers such as Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica and O2.
