(SinoCast via NewsEdge) China's mobile commerce market will reach 1.3 billion yuan ($163 million) by the end of this year, a report from iResearch Consulting Group said.
The report said China's wireless industry will be focus on services as mobile instant messages, mobile emails, mobile search and payment.
The growth of mobile commerce has kept a growth of 100% over the past two years.
iResearch said the market will eventually reach 7.6 billion yuan ($953 million) in 2010.
The research firm said consumer demand for mobile messages will also significantly help the growth of the industry starting this year.
This in turn will compel wireless and broadband firms to "change" their profit and growth projections.
