Fresh from the launch of its MVNO in the UK, China Telecom has opened two new enterprise services units in the growing Brazilian market.

The company has incorporated China Telecom do Brazil and China Communications Services do Brazil, Dow Jones Newswiresreported.

The first will provide connectivity services, cloud computing, data centers and other managed services, while the second will provide telecom infrastructure and business outsourcing services.

The offerings will reportedly be tailored at Brazilian companies doing business in China, and Chinese multinationals with Brazilian operations.

China Telecom received a license to provide multimedia communications services in the Brazilian market in 2H11.

The Brazilian operations will serve a hub for China Telecom's Latin American presence. Subsidiary China Telecom Americas operates in Latin American markets including Chile, Colombia, Argentina and Peru.

China Telecom has recently been pursuing international growth. The company launched MVNO operations in the UK in May, and has revealed plans to export this model to more European countries including Germany and France.
