Shipments of game-capable mobile phones are forecast to grow by 11.4% to 1.27 billion units in 2010 from 1.14 billion last year, according to a new report by iSuppli.
In comparison, figures during the same period for consoles and handhelds are expected to be flat or down.
Analyst Pamela Tufegdzic says the formidable lead enjoyed by such cellphones will continue in the years to come with no hint of decline.
