CASBAA has tapped Jill Grinda as vice president of operations, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to CEO Simon Twiston Davies, Grinda will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the association, including oversight of finance and human resources as well as supervising the events and communications teams.
She will also promote new revenue opportunities and relationships with CASBAA partners.
Prior to this appointment, Grinda was Worldwide Distribution Director for Euronews, and previously held distribution and marketing positions with Al Jazeera English, CNBC, Bloomberg Television, American Express International and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Separately, CASBAA has appointed Tom Keaveny, Janice Lee, and Steve Marcopoto to its board of directors.
Keaveny is currently executive vice president and managing director at Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.
Lee is executive vice president at PCCW, in charge of the Hong Kong-based operator's media businesses including NOW TV.
Marcopoto is president and managing director of Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific. He oversees programming, network development, advertising and distribution sales, marketing and promotion in the region.
