Bridgewater Systems, a developer of subscriber-centric policy management software for IP-based services, has begun interoperability testing with Oracle.

The testing pairs Bridgewater Systems Home Subscriber Server (HSS) with Oracle Communication and Mobility Server, a third-generation, programmable session initiation protocol and presence application server and a key component of the Oracle Service Delivery Platform (SDP).

As a result of the interoperability testing, service providers can quickly and cost-effectively launch new IP-based communication and collaboration services using the Bridgewater Systems HSS solution and Oracle (SDP).
